Chevaline Dexx is a single-layer, liquid-applied acrylic membrane reinforced with glass fibre mat. It forms a seamless, flexible, and durable waterproofing system for flat and near-flat roofs, decks, balconies, and other exterior trafficable areas. The system is designed for refurbishment and new construction and performs well on complex detailing and varied substrates.
The membrane provides high adhesion, good water resistance, and flexibility to accommodate movement across a range of building environments. When specified for areas with regular foot traffic, the system incorporates a reinforced build-up for improved toughness. Additional reinforced layers can also be used where light vehicular traffic is expected.
A protective topcoat is applied to suit the service conditions, including UV protection, foot-traffic durability, or resistance to occasional ponding. Chevaline Dexx is commonly used on residential and commercial roofs, decks, and wet areas, and is suitable as a waterproofing layer under tiles.
When installed to specification by an Equus Certified Applicator, the system meets New Zealand Building Code requirements and carries a 15-year warranty.
