Chevaline Dexx Carpark is a liquid-applied acrylic waterproofing system designed for carpark decks subject to light to medium vehicle use. The system incorporates two layers of glass fibre mat reinforcement, providing increased durability and allowing the membrane to accommodate stresses from turning and braking loads typical of residential and apartment building carparks.
The system build-up includes a substrate-appropriate primer, two reinforced Chevaline Dexx membrane layers, and a heavy-duty traffic topcoat. Topcoats are selected to provide UV protection and resistance to oil, petrol, grease, and general automotive contaminants.
Chevaline Dexx Carpark is suitable for new and refurbished carpark decks, access ramps, and low-traffic service areas. It is not intended for high-use public carparks, commercial parking buildings, or heavy-vehicle environments.
When installed to specification by an Equus Certified Applicator, the system meets New Zealand Building Code requirements, carries a 15-year warranty and offers a service life of approximately 25 years with regular maintenance.
