Matacryl Pedestrian is a liquid-applied elastomeric waterproofing system designed to protect concrete decks, balconies, ramps, and walkways. The system uses urethane-modified PUMMA resins to create a highly flexible, crack-bridging membrane that maintains performance even at low temperatures. Its rapid curing characteristics minimise downtime, making it suitable for occupied buildings or areas requiring fast return to service.
The multi-layer system includes a primer, waterproofing membrane layer, wear layer with aggregate, and two topcoats. It is available in both a painted finish and a decorative coloured quartz option to meet aesthetic or slip-resistance requirements. The cured membrane delivers excellent impact, puncture, and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for demanding pedestrian areas.
Matacryl membranes can also be used in specialised applications such as bridge decks, tunnels, channels, and sub-grade waterproofing. When installed by a certified applicator, the system carries a 10-year warranty.
