Duracon Flooring is a methyl methacrylate (PMMA) coating system designed for light to medium duty industrial environments requiring durability, hygiene, and rapid return to service. The system consists of a urethane-modified, membrane applied over a substrate-specific primer to ensure excellent adhesion, including to damp or porous concrete.
Duracon floors are installed with an integrated non-skid surface profile, delivering a jointless, crack-bridging finish that performs well in wet or high-traffic areas. The system is suitable for new or existing concrete substrates. Decorative coloured quartz provides a clean, functional, and aesthetically uniform surface.
Application is possible in low-temperature environments, making Duracon suitable for cold stores and processing spaces. The system is hygienic, easy to clean, and resistant to abrasion, impact, chemicals, hot water, and steam cleaning.
The Duracon Flooring System is assessed as compliant with the New Zealand Building Code and carries a 5-year warranty when installed by a certified applicator.
