Dexx Plant Room Membrane is a liquid-applied acrylic waterproofing system reinforced with glass fibre mat to provide a durable, fully adhered membrane for concrete plant rooms, service areas, and bunded zones. The reinforcement accommodates stresses in concrete substrates and helps contain liquid spillages within the plant room or bunded area.
The system follows the Chevaline Dexx Roof & Deck build-up, with the addition of chemical-resistant topcoats selected to suit specific plant environments. These topcoats protect the building fabric from water, chemicals, cleaning agents, and operational spillages resulting from plant malfunction or maintenance activities.
Slip-resistant finishes can be incorporated where required for onsite safety and access control. The system forms a seamless, flexible, easy-to-maintain surface suitable for new construction or refurbishment of plant rooms in commercial and industrial buildings.
When installed to specification by an Equus Certified Applicator, the system meets New Zealand Building Code requirements and carries a 15-year warranty.
