Equus Jacks Queen Plus System with Skudo

Raised flooring systems are not a one-size-fits-all solution. Project requirements such as build-up height, substrate conditions, surface finishes and design intent can all influence the most appropriate support system.

The Equus Jacks range provides a complete system of pedestal, grid and installation solutions for tiles, pavers and timber decking across balconies, terraces, podiums and roof decks.

When Flexibility Is Required: Queen

For projects requiring adjustable heights and precise level control, the Queen pedestal range offers a versatile solution.

With adjustable heights from 21 mm to 234 mm, Queen can accommodate a wide range of build-ups without extensions. The Queen Plus self-levelling option automatically corrects slopes of up to 5%, while the Queen Crown head supports timber and metal joist installations.

Combined with pre-cut spacer tabs for different paving formats, Queen is well suited to projects where flexibility is a priority.

When Every Millimetre Matters: Lord

Where build-up height is limited, a low-profile support system may be required.

The Lord range provides fixed-height support from 8 mm to 20 mm in 4 mm increments, making it particularly suited to renovation projects, balconies and threshold interfaces. A thermoplastic rubber head surface and integrated spacer tabs assist with installation, while Lord Extensions are available where additional height is needed.

Greater Design Freedom with Poker Grid

Some projects require more than a traditional pedestal-supported paving layout.

Compatible with both Queen and Lord pedestals, the Poker Grid system provides a modular platform for porcelain, ceramic, natural stone and concrete pavers, as well as timber decking and natural or synthetic turf.

Its flexibility allows designers to incorporate multi-format paving, landscaped areas, irrigation systems and under-paver heating within a single installation.

Tools and Accessories

The Equus Jacks range also includes a selection of installation accessories designed to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Power Key for post-installation adjustment of Queen pedestals, including beneath Poker Grid installations.
  • Lucky Rubber Shim for compensating for uneven substrates or variable natural stone thicknesses.
  • Skudo rubber separator discs, installed beneath pedestals to help protect membranes and reduce vibration and noise transmission.

A Complete System

Whether the priority is adjustability, low build-up heights or greater design flexibility, the Equus Jacks range provides a solution for a wide variety of project requirements.

By combining pedestals, grids and installation accessories within a compatible system, designers and specifiers can select the most appropriate solution for the needs of each project.
