The Equus SOPREMA DuO Landscape Two Layer Roofing System is a two-layer torch applied membrane designed for use on green roofs, roof gardens, planter boxes and courtyards. It offers a superior, durable and root resistant waterproofing system.
DuO Landscape roofing membrane provides a stable but flexible modified bituminous product, with dual reinforcement and a double polymeric bitumen coating enriched with root resistant additives. The system also includes a loose-laid drainage mat to ensure free water drainage and adds protection to the membrane, extending the life of the system. The roofing system is suitable for both new builds, and roof refurbishments.
The system has been assessed and complies with the New Zealand Building Code, and holds a current BRANZ appraisal.
The basesheet and capsheets used for each system are specifically selected based on the requirements of the project, including substrate, weather conditions, and use of the area. These include fully torched, no flame glue, and mechanically fastened options.
This system can be used on plywood and concrete substrates to form a standard cold roof system, or alternatively as a Duotherm Warm Roof system that includes a Thermal PIR Insulation board and vapour barrier for guaranteed condensation control and a guaranteed R-value as per the New Zealand Building Code.
