The EQUUS SOPREMA NOVATHERM Self-adhered Warm Roof System is a light-weight, thermally insulated roofing system which consists of the NOVA-SK self-adhered membrane system applied over a thermal insulation board and vapour barrier. This warm roof system guarantees a continuous and efficient thermal resistance (R-value) as per the New Zealand Building Code and is designed for use on exposed architectural flat roofs, podium decks, balconies, and terraces in the New Zealand climate.
NOVATHERM self-adhered is our only warm roof system to have a completely flameless installation making it a highly sought-after system where a torch-on membrane system is not desired. The NOVA-SK membranes have high self-adhesive properties, creating a robust watertight system for any warm roof design, and are finished with natural grey slates for an aesthetic, cost-effective solution for the building owner.
With a standard self-adhered base sheet and cap sheet suitable for the NZ climate, NOVATHERM can be used on plywood, concrete and metal substrates to form an efficient warm roof system in any area across the country.
