The Equus SOPREMA DuO No Flame Roofing System is designed for use on exposed architectural flat roofs, podium decks, balconies, and terraces. It offers a superior waterproofing system that is both UV resistant and flexible.
DuO No Flame system is a two-layer, fire resistant system where the base sheet membrane is mechanically fastened or self-adhered to the substrate and the cap sheet membrane is glued over top. The membrane laps are welded with hot air meaning, the DuO No Flame system requires no open flame during application.
Duo roofing membrane provides a hard, stable, UV-resistant, and flexible modified bituminous product, finished with pressed coloured natural slates to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish. The roofing system is suitable for both new builds, and roof refurbishments.
The system has been assessed and complies with the New Zealand Building Code, and holds a current BRANZ appraisal.
This system can be used on plywood and concrete substrates to form a standard cold roof system, and as a Duotherm warm roof system.
